Anonymous hero

Monty has always been in the shadows, especially Jasper’s shadow. Never taken in consideration when it came to his opinion and always mistaken for someone with no sense of humor. He mostly referred to Jasper as us because he was so used to be his shadow that it made him believe they were that close. Monty was loyal to Jasper, his friendship and dedication could speak by itself. He was never recognized as he should have been, not that it bothered him but sometimes it kinda of discommoded him.

Part of him always thought he wasn’t good enough to stand by himself. When he landed on earth he thought it would be a nice way to start over again but once again, his loyalty to Jasper made him relinquish that thought. No one would ever think of Monty as a hero. Not even when he helped Jasper shoot straight to the bomb at the bridge. Neither when he sent that signal for the others to find about Mount Weather.

It was only when he was about to die, when he was taken away that he thought his life has always been Jasper’s shadow and he would only die like that, as a shadow. And now that he have been giving a second chance, he would surely like to live it at the maximum. Not as anyone else shadow, not in the dark. It’s time for this anonymous hero to shine by himself.

DAY 7: JASPER THE BELLARKE FANBOY

It’s Christmas, so prepare for disappointment.

It started in his tent, with a vicious frowny face.

“I just got chewed out by not one – but two of our leaders,” Jasper griped, glaring darkly at the tent door which Bellamy and Clarke had just vacated.

“You did literally turn two of our guns into water pistols,” Monty pointed out, unhelpfully.

“I know that!”

Monty was stretched out on his bed, brows raised. “So then what’s the problem?”

Jasper’s fists curled inside his jacket pockets. “The point is that all I want for Christmas is mom and dad off my back.”

“A – they’re not out parents, b – Christmas is like three months awa—“

Jasper shushed him very loudly. “Not the point!” he claimed. “Look, we’ve been on the ground for what – a few months now? And everything’s going fine. Better than fine. The only people who refuse to notice are those two idiots, and frankly, I for one am getting sick of it!”
